Ganna

Packaging Design · FMCG - 2021

A packaging redesign system built to strengthen shelf presence while communicating freshness, simplicity, and trust.

Ganna is an Egyptian frozen food brand. The challenge was to redesign the entire packaging range while keeping the existing logo and all product information unchanged. The objective was to create a stronger, more recognizable visual system that could unify the product family and improve shelf impact. The redesign was developed with real production requirements in mind and prepared specifically for flexographic printing.

The previous packaging lacked a clear visual hierarchy and struggled to communicate the brand's core promise. The redesign focused on expressing a simple idea: food that moves directly from field to freezer while preserving freshness and quality.

Rather than creating a separate design language for every product, the project introduced a unified system capable of supporting the entire range while remaining easy for customers to navigate and recognize.

The system is built around a consistent grid, a limited color palette, and a set of reusable graphic elements that connect every package within the range. Color distinguishes products, while structure creates consistency.

The visual language was designed not only for marketing effectiveness but also for production efficiency. Every element was developed with flexographic printing constraints in mind, ensuring the final printed result matched the intended design while maintaining clarity, scalability, and shelf visibility.

A practical and scalable identity system that strengthens shelf visibility, improves product recognition, and supports future brand growth.
